What we offer

What we offer

Three ways to transform
your body and mind

Three ways to transform
your body and mind

Mat Pilates

The foundation of everything we do. Mat pilates uses your own bodyweight to build deep core strength, improve posture and restore the natural alignment of your spine. Unlike gym-based core work, pilates targets the smaller stabilising muscles that conventional exercise tends to miss — the ones responsible for how you carry yourself, how you move, and how your back feels at the end of a long day. Classes are structured but adaptable — whether you're a complete beginner or have years of practice, your instructor will meet you where you are and progress you at the right pace.

Reformer Pilates

The reformer machine uses a system of springs and adjustable resistance to create precise, controlled movement that's simply not possible on a mat alone. It targets the deeper stabilising muscles, builds long lean strength and is remarkably gentle on joints — making it ideal for rehabilitation, post-surgery recovery or anyone who wants real results without high impact. The feedback from the machine also makes it easier to understand your own body: where you're compensating, where you're holding tension, and where you have more potential than you realised. Once you try it, you won't go back.

Aerial Pilates

Suspended in a soft silk hammock, aerial pilates takes your practice into three dimensions. The hammock supports your body weight while allowing full spinal decompression, deeper hip and shoulder opening, and movements that challenge your balance and spatial awareness in an entirely new way. It also has a playful, almost meditative quality that makes it unlike any other class in the studio — many members describe leaving a session feeling lighter, both physically and mentally. It sounds intimidating — our members consistently say it's their favourite class within the first two sessions.

Our philosophy

A studio built on the belief that movement is medicine

We created Forma Studio because every body deserves precise guidance and a space to truly move well. Our pilates classes are intentionally small — no more than 8 people — so your instructor can see every detail of your alignment and give your practice the attention it deserves.

Whether you're rebuilding strength after injury, discovering the reformer for the first time, or floating through aerial work in the hammock — we meet you exactly where you are.

  • After years of back pain, six weeks of Reformer classes changed everything. The instructors actually listen and remember your goals."

  • "Aerial Pilates sounds scary but Maya makes it completely approachable. Best thing I've done for my posture and mental health in years."

    Priya M.

  • "I'm a runner and always skipped 'slow' workouts. A friend dragged me to a reformer class and I was humbled within the first ten minutes. Six months later it's the foundation of my entire training — my injury rate has dropped and my times have actually improved."

    Lena M.

  • "I came to Forma six months postpartum, completely disconnected from my body. The reformer classes gave me a safe, structured way to rebuild my core from scratch. The instructors never made me feel behind — just supported at every step."

    Rachel B.

    Google Reviews

  • "I sit at a desk for 10 hours a day and my shoulders and neck were constantly tense. Three months of mat pilates and I've stopped reaching for painkillers. I didn't expect a movement class to fix something I'd been managing with pills for years."

How do I book a class?

All bookings are made through our online scheduling system. Click "Book a Class" and choose a time that works for you.

What should I wear and bring?

Comfortable fitted activewear and grip socks. Mats and all equipment are provided in studio.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Free cancellations and rescheduling up to 12 hours before your class. Late cancellations use your class credit.

What's the difference between mat, reformer and aerial pilates?

Mat pilates uses your bodyweight and builds foundational strength. The reformer adds spring resistance for more precise, varied movement with lower joint impact. Aerial pilates uses a suspended silk hammock to deepen stretches and decompress the spine — each has its own benefits and they work brilliantly together.
